DMCA Policy
Salvage Season Scottish Cup respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly provided to us.
This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA notification and counter-notification. It is designed to make submitting notices of infringement and counter-notifications as straightforward as possible, while also reducing the number of notices that we receive that are fraudulent or difficult to understand.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the Salvage Season Scottish Cup website, please send a written DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent. For your notice to be effective under the DMCA, it must include substantially the following:
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including where the copyrighted work appeared on the Salvage Season Scottish Cup website.
- A description of the location on the Salvage Season Scottish Cup website where the material that you claim is infringing is located, with enough detail that we may find it.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material in your content, you may send a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Salvage Season Scottish Cup may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of the alleged infringement.
